Daily journal June 19, 2000, Prophecy they will understand, William Thomas Thompson
What does the Bible say about the end time and are we near that time today?
Through the years many interpretations have surfaced which can alter or limit the Word of God, the Bible and truth. Let us open our minds to true interpretation of the anointed word of God in the little Book, the Bible. The rapture doctrine is the most famous of all teachings among Protestant denominations, yet this doctrine was written by a Spanish priest in 1582 for the purpose I believe of counteracting the Pope being identified as the antichrist and discredited from a world of religious domination, this great sounding false doctrine lay dormant in a library for 300 years before the Puritans found it, liked it and spread it to the Protestant world. Being raptured is a wonderful thought and I wish it were true. This is a market tool of the Protestant movement as is the seven-year tribulation. I must write the truth as I see it about these errors in the modern church and point people to the right way to think and live in God's will. I paint this in visual art but feel the need to write these details for better understanding of the prophecies being fulfilled every day. If you take the prediction of seven years as tribulation and apply it to the Ministry of Christ on earth, he was cut off in 3 1/2 years and His disciples finished the ministry. Deceptive influence has distorted truth from the beginning as I painted and said many times, I expect to see the coming of the Lord soon to rule on earth a thousand years as the Bible promises. Persecution of Christians and tribulation may grow worse as we now approach the time but it is not confined to seven years. Christ will return as the second coming but will not then go away for seven years and return the third time as is taught by
the modern church. This would be the third coming of Christ, which they never mention in numbers. I hold dear the truths I learned through the Holy Spirit of God teaching me. I am not out to market the gospel but to speak it freely and paint it in every heart and soul.
The book of Revelation has continually been fulfilled and now we stand on the verge of Armageddon. Yet to be fulfilled is from Revelation 16-15 through the end of the book where we shall operate with Him forever and partake of the fruit of that great tree of life provided by God in Heaven to the believers as we trust and serve Him. I have no time to argue false doctrine. I must plant what God has revealed to me and record the message.
No new antichrist will appear with peace in the end, the antichrist has been on earth for 1500 years; it is reasonable to know so. This antichrist has always talked peace while staging war. The Bible is color-coded and you can find him by colors or you can find him and identify him as being the substitute for Christ in mass and other religious rituals, which surround themselves with the idolatry. Give us wisdom dear Lord to recognize false religion and fortitude to resist it and condemn it with all our efforts and love. The church today is so wrapped up in compromise until they never recognize the true way. It is a great battle to keep straight the protestant world if one could. It is impossible to convert heathen religions unless God change the heart. The 6:00 p.m. news almost every day praises the Pope and quotes his sayings to their audience as though he is right being the great white father and master of religion. Worship of the idol Mary is so very wide spread in the world today with thousands rallying to see her appear. This is a show of strength by the enemy of our souls. Worship not Mary, because she is not divine. Let us worship Christ the Lord. Let us pray to Christ the Lord, Son of the living God, Divine! Christ is our advocate with the Father God and not any Catholic priest. Be not deceived. Tonight on Larry King live CNN, guest were Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins who have, together written a book series of 12 entitled Left Behind no.1 seller fiction. This is a book about the rapture and being left behind based on the book of Revelation prophecy.
